There has been great progress made in South Africa’s fight against HIV/Aids, however there are still many problems affecting those who live with the virus. The roll-out of anti-retroviral has been a positive step, but the initial roll-out has been beset with problems.
Problems surrounding the issuing of government grants to only the those who medically unable to work has given HIV/Aids sufferers the awful choice of taking Art’s in order to literally save their lives or not taking the Art’s in order to remain sick enough to receive their grant money. Raging Ferret Productions takes a look into a community that is faced with the horrible option of endangering their health in order to sustain their existence.
